True or False; If You Vote Then You Have A Voice….

I was told for most of my life that if you don’t vote then don’t complain!  That is the basic premise behind democracy, however I believe the opposite is true, if you vote then you do NOT have a voice.

Alberta is having an election on Monday, April 23rd, 2012 and the US is having a big election in November for ‘President’.  So I thought it would be great to have some discussions about what this really means.

When ‘constituents’ elect a MLA, MP or President, a fiduciary relationship is established.  The constituents were the grantor and the individual elected becomes the agent, which carries fiduciary responsibilities.  A trust is established but something more important happens.  The ‘constituents’ voluntarily elect him / her to ‘represent’ them.  This is, in my opinion, a form of ‘power of attorney’.  As such the elected representative now has the ‘constituents’ authority to act on their behalf and as such the ‘constituents’ no longer have the authority to say anything because they passed that authority onto their ‘representative’.

I found a very interesting court ruling from the Supreme Court of British Columbia. In this ruling it implies the ‘supreme authority’ being the people.

What To Do When You Wake Up to the Manipulation, Lies and Deceit

In my workshop I asked the question: How many people love the government?

Most people do not put up their hands. I put up my hand because in my view they have given me a most wondrous gift. The people who hold those fictitious titles have made it most uncomfortable for me and as such it helped me wake up. I now see how it is all a fiction and a lie. I now see how much I was dependent on other people and benefiting from the legal plunder that was taking place. I see the control and manipulation of those still caught up in the system. I love the gift but it does not mean that I like what they do.

I see all these people in power starting to get trapped and cornered into a no win situation. That is not good. Now that people are waking up to the fraud and the lies these individuals have to either clamp down even harder to maintain the ruse or get out. Status Quo will not work any longer and that is why the system keeps morphing and changing. What worked a few years ago is now different. If we are not careful, we could end up making things very dangerous for them and us. I know deep in my heart that they are people just like me and I wonder how I can help them. How can we find a win/win out of this? How can we help them and encourage them to make changes. I have no doubt that the rise in consciousness that is sweeping the planet is also affecting them too. It has to as we are all connected to and dependent upon the earth and all that is going on around us. I thought about this all day. Then these questions came to my mind.

G. Edward Griffin Shares His Thoughts on the Occupy Movement

G. Edward Griffin shared his thoughts about the Occupy protests going on all around the world. His message is bang on to what I’ve been trying to teach people too. Check it out.

Please remember that Monsanto did not modify a single plant or create a single toxic substance. GM did not make a single car. Government did not inject your kids with toxic vaccines. People did all the work. People! We did it.

A Corporation is a fiction! It does not exist. The word ‘corporation’ comes from the root word ‘corpus’ which is a dead body!!!The word ‘person’ comes from the root word ‘persona’ which is a mask.

Some Closing Thoughts for 2011

I have found some comforting peace in my life in the last few days. It has been rather nice for a change. As I reflect and meditate over the Christmas season, I cannot help but think about how much energy people put into trying to prove that Christ did not exist or that Christmas is a pagan holiday, etc. I for one am not writing to you to challenge the ‘facts’ of Christmas. My intent is to share with you that I believe in the ‘intent’ that Christmas is celebrated to experience the impulse of Christ and to have discussions about what it is required to find ‘Peace on Earth’ and ‘Good Will towards Men’ and that the facts are irrelevant.

For Christmas this year, I celebrate all those things that we all find in common so that we can find some common ground to unite in brotherhood and peace rather than being divided. John F. Kennedy said it best during his speech in 1963:

“If we cannot end now our differences, at least we can make the world safe for diversity. For, in the final analysis, our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this small planet. We all breathe the same air. We all cherish our children’s future. And we are all mortal.”

My Perspective on the Wall Street Protests

As most of you probably know, the “Wall Street Protests” have pretty much spread all around the world. I do admire the courage of those who are involved in these protests. The message that I hear from these groups is that they are done having the banking and corporate elite taking all the wealth at the expense of the people. I see these protests as a way for people to send a message to the elite.

I do want to challenge those individuals who want to change the system. I believe that revolutions throughout history have failed mainly because people revolt but then end up replacing the system they revolted against, with the exact same system. Then over time, the system then corrupts again and consumes those that forced the changes in the beginning, resulting in the process repeating itself. I believe that if we are to brake the cycle, we must first take a look at some core root causes.
