The word ‘change’ is something that has been floating around a lot to explain what 2012 is all about. Ben and I also talk about it in UNGRIP too. I was thinking … what if the word ‘change’ is just another expression for the life and death cycles we experience in our lives? After all, in order to make a change in our life something must die in order to free up the resources or the energy for something new to be born.
In the end is it not the normal cycle of life and death?
How is that any different than any other ‘death’ that we experience in our lives? Many people are talking about big changes coming up. In reality are we not talking about the death of a lot of things that we are familiar with? Are we facing loosing many things in our lives that we have grown comfortable with or accustomed to? Are we facing the reality of being outside of our comfort zone? How are we at dealing with death and loss or even birth and renewal? How good are we at mourning the losses and embracing the new things that are being born? Does birth also come with it’s own stress as well?
